| You're counting Watson whos from QLD, then played for Tassie, and then NSW You counted Forrest who only got a run when he went to QLD You counted Christian who only got a run when he went to SA You counted Ed Cowan who i thought was from Tassie all along?
I did some research Since 1998/99 QLD has been in the final on 10 occasions, winning 4 Since 1998/99 NSW has been in the final on 5 occasions, winning 3

You counted Forrest who only got a run when he went to QLD You counted Christian who only got a run when he went to SA You counted Ed Cowan who i thought was from Tassie all along? First of all, Watson went Tassie > QLD > NSW. Ed Cowan grew up in Sydney. And yes, I counted them.

| So in the modern era, where all teams have similar access to good facilities and training - NSW aren't winning any sheffield shield titles
I can't believe you clung back to the 1800's in an attempt to win. Look in the past man, NSW had 1000 runs put on them vs Victoria in 1926/27 The only modern team to come near that was when QLD put 900 runs on in 2005/06 QLD is all over NSW in the modern era, and that's the era me and you grew up in. its the era that matters here
That's like saying the Dragons are the greatest league team cos they've won the most titles. In the modern era, Broncos and Storm are all over them.

| No, I typed out this huge post and then I deleted it because I'm on nightshift, my time is precious, I feel as though you have more time than me, required to win this debate.
I feel as though i should be spending my time more constructively, like sleeping, hitting the gym or figuring out ways to kill myself so i dont have to go to work.

| I watched both league games + Aussies batting vs West Indies tonight Slow pitch is slow. Those West Indies spinners were raping us. Samuels and the other dude. They both bowl at 93km/hr and get spin and bounce. they were fucked to play
also, peter forrests innings was one of the worst ive seen in ages. he got something like 26 from 62.. i know its a slow pitch and shit, but he spent so much time blocking, or missing the ball

| Vernon Philander is too good.
45 wickets at 13.60 after playing a mere 6 tests! Includes; 2 four wicket hauls, 5 five wicket hauls and 2 ten wicket matches. Only a medium fast bowler to boot.
(Also has 307 First Class wickets at 18)
Not a bad start to your test career.

Got a quiz in a couple of weeks actually. What are the odds that they'll ask the question; "Which South African fast bowler took 4/12 against Ireland on his 22nd birthday?".

| These tests are tight hey, clarke, mr cricket in form, kallis, amla, De villiers as well. Adelaide has always been a batters wicket and I dont think I will be far off in betting on another draw with high first innings runs. | |
