| I say go.
Been out of form for too long, think his average for the last 50 odd innings is 25 or thereabouts. Who's next in line? Is Kawaja a 3?

Aussies won't chase it down. We're in the prime seat and should do it. But we won't. Dale Steyn is too good

| Thought he was having trouble with his hamstring and might miss first test.
If you could pick a World XI Test team (based on the 2011 season so far), who would you select?
Forte's XI 1. Alistair Cook 2. Rahul Dravid 3. Hashim Amla 4. Kumar Sangakkara (wk) 5. AB De Villiers (c) 6. Ian Bell 7. Daniel Vettori 8. Dale Steyn 9. Umar Gul 10. Morne Morkel 11. Saaed Ajmal
Struggled with finding a second opener. Dravid has opened on a few occasions for India and i'm fairly sure he did so earlier on in the year with some success.

| Ohh I've got no idea for a team of 2011. My only locks are Steyn, Morkel, jaques kallis and Dan Vettori.
D. Vettori captain? | |

| He's already got a century,, as well as a 80 odd He's a handy lower order batter. Maybe like Shaun Pollock, but less of a bowler and less of a batter | |

Mickey Arthur aye. No suitable coaches in Australia at the moment? (Not saying there is anything wrong with Arthur)

| Not surprised with our 2nd innings at all (NZs motto is 'Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory').
The thing i'm most disappointed about was our fielding/catching, which is usually our strength. Keeper dropped a sitter and Rossco also shelled a regulation slip catch.
McCullum needs to suck it up and keep. He's done fuck all with the bat since he gave up the gloves to concentrate on it. If he kept and batted at 6/7 then we have a space for either an extra batsman or bowler.

| not sure what to make of pattinson, seems like the orthodox tall fast bowler. Nz just lost to bad batting overall. | |

| tell me you phaggots watched India v lanka today..
321 runs in 37 overs! exceptional batting by anyones standards, made even more great by the fact that it was a must win + bonus point match for india to stay in contention for finals!

| As much as I hate seeing my Sri Lankan brothers lose, that game was awesome.
I could watch Sangakkara bat for days but Kohli stole the show. When he flicked Malinga over midwicket for six then followed it up with one of the best cover drives i've seen in a long while, sublime.
Malinga went for 96 off about 8 overs! Dilshan equalled his highest score (160*), both against India and on both occasions he has lost.
