The gambler.
A superb piece of shit. The films entire dialogue was contrived and incongruent. I lost the plot for about 90% of the film and never pieced it together, hence the tying up of the plot in the final scenes made high onno sense.

I watched Jurassic World on the weekend, I mean I enjoyed it and all, but the I don't like chris pratt that much, and I didnt like the heroine either... also I think it was perhaps built up to much? I dont know I think it would have been better going in cold! 6.5/10

Just watched interstellar... Not sure what the fucking fuck I just watched. I don't know if it was good or bad.
I've heard it described as our generations 2001 space odyssey... I don't even.

Recent movies I've seen:
Southpaw - 9/10 Right in the feels this movie
American Ultra - 7/10 I'm biased when it comes to Jesse Eisenberg, movie had good action for a comedy
Everest - 9/10 Intense is the only way I described this movie

Saw this on the weekend, very good movie and probably one of Julia Roberts best performances.

Watched Star Wars boys; not sure it was as good as I was hoping. The film was more similar to the originals then the new ones I feel. More adventure character driven rather than an expansive backdrop, but maybe thats just my take. I also didn't think the music was as powerful. The characters were solid, except for the antagonist whom I thought was a bit weak as a character. The female lead isn't super annoying though, which was a welcome surprise. No ridiculous comical characters like Jar Jar either, so that was good too! I think it looks to be a solid trilogy, but probably not the strongest start. In saying that though its almost impossible to live up to the hype. 7/10

I watched it earlier today. Loved the acting and pretty much all the characters. The plot and writing felt a little lazy tho in some parts. Not soaked in cgi and some really nice looking sets and characters. This movie was always going to be a bridge movie to introduce all the new characters and the main plot and i think it pulled it off pretty nicely. Hoping the next one gets even better.

Watched The Big Short.
Was pretty entertaining. For some reason I go completely stupid when all the investment jargon comes in. But even for an idiot like me it was still understandable. I read somwhere else that whilst they didnt cover the complete story, it does cover the main components. In any case it was fun to watch and would recommend. Carrell does well

I've read the book and I started watching the film but I hear my missus brain exploding so I shut it off but maaaaaan I read the book and I get the overarching concepts I still got lost in the finer nuances of credit default swaps on sub prime mortgages.
Weren't you a budding day trafer at one point azaan?
