this is probably the perfect example. You should all listen to this song all the way through and read the lyrics to get what i mean. The last 2 minutes 20 seconds of this song gave me chills, the massive work up of this song to the ending is amazing the screaming in this song makes it so powerfull, you wouldnt get the same thing with ordinary singing or rapping
its just another form of expression. dont get me wrong, im not into all that death metal shit that you legit cant understand one word. i only enjoy a mild scream with some nice clean vocals, but i havent realy been listning to any screamo lately more chilled shit, and old songs like the Beatles, Dire Straights or something like U2. alot better for the soul imo.
