Hyro Da Hero - was actually pretty mad. he was the first act of the day Staind - forever having their timeslot changed, so i didn't see them. 2pm, then 4pm, then 7pm, then 4pm. when the fuck? Unwritten Law - meh, didn't know much of their stuff Break Even - sick as! Will be listening to them alot more Underoath - they only played 4 songs due to techincal difficulties, but they had heaps mad energy! they were really good Lostprohets - they were ok. I probs expected too much. Alter Bridge - every song sounds the same lol. And they didn't even play Metalingus?! A Day to Remember - the start of their set was sick! everyone moshing, and then 20 beach balls come out into the crowd
Limp Bizkit - was so awesome for me. Nookie, break stuff, my generation, take a look around, hot dog, livin it up. All these songs have mad peaks which made it awesome. Take a Look Around was my favourite. Everyone was crouching down, and then launched into a big mosh when it peaked
Marilyn Manson - was crap. They didn't even play "this is the new shit". He got some chick to snort some recreational white powder off his hand. Probs the highlight of his set.
Slipknot - fuck, they were the best!! I was right up front in the mosh from 5pm-10pm, and Slipknot were the best. The energy from everyone on stage was good. Good crowd interaction. It was cool how that clown dudes kit rose up and down and spun around and round. It was mad how Sid climbed that tower and jumped off just as they were lauching into Duality! (see randoms vid below). The highlight had to be Spit it Out though! Fuck that was mad. Everyone in the crowd crouched down, and then launched up when he said jump the fuck up. Fuck it was great to be a part of. (see vids below).
System - solid. I know their shit backwards. They played alot of songs. There wasn't much fucking around in between songs. Vocals were good. It was all pretty good. I read this soundwave review that summarised them pretty well though. "System were good, but following Slipknots energetic crazy performance, it made System seem a bit tame."
Drinks - $8 for a strongbow mid strength cider. $10 for a jim beam mid strength. $10 for a smirnoff mid strength. $12 for a vodka/moster. $12 for a vodka/jager. I can't remember if beers were $8 or $6 because there was no way i was touching that hot hot beer.
Chicks - the festival was mostly dudes as you'd imagine. I thought there would be more alternative hot chicks there. meh. I didn't really pay attention too much since i was fucking around with my mates all day.

abz, if you like slipknot - Spit it Out, Duality, Surfacing. Play those songs on loop for the next week haha. Same with psychosocial actually

either way man.. ive been going through alot of channel v, 803, 805, 808 and 810 lately.. theres fucking no good songs on man. Theres nothing coming through. its all doof doof with rap lyrics, and its all shit.. Shit that wont be known in 6 months time. i need music that has an edge man. You know that cd Bone Thugs - Strength and Loyalty. That is good shit man. It has an edge to it.
