| Random stuff about MW3 (Nov 8th). Here goes
Single Player Spec Ops - missions - survival (like zombies) Multiplayer
16 maps - maps look like they have pretty good layout. compared to Blops anyways Kill Confirmed - like TDM, but you have to collect/deny the tag when someone dies Team Defender - like TDM, but whoever holds the flag gets double the points. so 100 points per kill instead of 50 Theatre Mode - is back. You can store things locally, as well as online Combat Training - is not back Levelling up - 10 prestiges, 80 levels each Prestige Shop - when u prestige, you get a token, then u buy something from the shop with the token. You'll have extra tokens for prestiging in cod4/5, mw2, blops. The shop has double xp, extra create a class, extra titles and emblems etc etc
Create a Class
Assault, SMG, LMG, Sniper, Shotgun, Riot Shield Handguns, Machine Pistols, Launchers
Frag, semtex, BOUNCING BETTY etc Flash, smoke etc
Perks - 5 perks in slot 1,2,3. Notable perks include - Quickdraw: ADS faster, and throw nades/flashes faster - Stalker: faster ADS walking, delayed claymores
Deathstreaks - beertank can research them Proficiency - a perk for your gun. includes less kick, less sway, deeper impact etc
Slot 1 in create a class can have Assault rifle, quick draw blah blah along with the killstreaks predator, ac130 Slot 2 in create a class can have smg, assassin (aka ghost) blah blah along with the killstreaks uav, counter uav So when you change class MID GAME, your killstreaks change too.
Killstreaks
Killstreaks are now called Strike Packages. You have to choose 1 package from the 3 groups Assault - predator, ac130 etc etc. work the same as mw2. so if your predator kills 2 people, youll have harriers Support - uav, counter uav, blackbird etc. They work DIFFERENTLY. Your counter goes up each kill, but it doesn't reset when you. So if you get 2 kills, then die. Then get 2 kills next life, you'll get a uav. Specialist - you get perks for kills instead. 2 kills gives you a 4th perk. 4 kills gives you a 5th perk. 6 kills gives you a 6th perk. 8 kills gives you every perk. So you'll be running around with assasin, sleight of hand, blast shield, quickdraw etc etc.. You get to choose what order you receive the perks.
Also, when you reach your 3rd and final killstreak.. like an ac130 for 14 kills or whatever.. as you keep getting kills, it goes back to your first killstreak. So you don't have to wait until you die to get another killstreak. (apparently)
Private Matches
There are 4or5 bonus modes included. - Gun game (from blops) where you can choose the order the guns go 1-20 - Infection (no idea) - Juggernaut modes (no idea)
Join In Progress - yes/no Intermission - yes/no. (hopefully we can adjust how long the intermission goes for) Ban certain guns option Ban certain perks option Pretty much like Blops

| looks like they've added more crap, perks/deathstreaks and proficiency seem retarded, and the way the killstreaks work seem worse than in any other cod.
won't be buying it straight away.

| There's only 15 perks total
2 new perks are fresh - quickdraw and stalker
Deathstreaks i don't really care about.. theres no painkiller so thats good i guess
Proficiency is just like fmj on mw2.. except you can change fmj to less recoil for example
Killstreaks work the same as mw2. However theres Specialist which gives you perks instead. And then the other is Support, which gives you Team Oriented rewards (uav etc) so it doesnt matter if you die or not
I think the main difference is just killstreaks. But yeah, i can see why you would wanna wait/pass. Though it's a faster paced game than BF3!

| lol i aint fanboying bf3, but the perk killstreak and the support one which doesnt reset on death just seems a bit dumb in my opinion.
just seems like mw2/blackops with added stuff which had eventually put 'me' off those games in the first place. i aint gonna judge it too much before it's actually been released, i could end up liking it for all i know, just pointing out whats worrying to me.

| I thought they were similar Specially considering the predecessor was Cod5 in World War 2.
Difference between cod4 and mw2 was killstreaks pretty much. MW2 was heaps nice. and smooth. and attractive looking. Hence i'm looking forward to mw3
