i just went and pre-orded for the midnight release.
i want a full ** party on that night. If we can all be on at around 10pm so we can pay our respects to MW2 before it RIP.
Then we can all head off pick up the cunt of a game and hop back on.
If anyone remembers, it was the same process last year. We were on SND strike, one of our staple maps before we moved on to mw2.

@Jaco - did you do a challenge lobby for mw2.. what happens in them? my understanding is they complete every challenge, give you every avatar/emblem, take you to final prestige, fuck up your stats.. is that all? I'll wanna do it for cod7 so long as there's no bannings or anything

nah it wasnt a hacked lobby, i dont think you can do that on ps3, i just did your average hacking, changing your save file
edit: actually hacked lobbys were the way cod4 was hacked, but it was patched, so you had to use a patch blocker that allowed you to play cod4 online with others that had bypassed the patch. The lobbys you hosted would have the settings you hacked into it using a hex editor on your pc to change the save file. Good times, i would say treyarch will patch it fairly quickly so this might be the go! As for what happened in the lobbys, well that depends on what the hacker puts into the code, i didnt play in a challenge one, just xp and kill streak lobbys!

only played a bit of singleplayer and zombies. feels very much like WaW and looks similiar (in my eyes). treyarch allways have such bland colours in their games.
people have reached level 25ish in 3 hours. how quick is to level in the game, that seems a bit too fast to me

the lag makes the game almost unplayable at the moment. skipping around constantly is no fun.
on a side note. its awesome to see the guns kinda have recoil now

yeh there is kinda recoil, but i have to admit the maps arent really grabbing me at the moment, (read maps for snd) they are very much cod5 maps in that regards, sort of like estate, wasteland and derail on mw2 were like, just not much good for snd imo.

yeh the maps are fucking awful in my opinion. guns are good though for the most part. and i defs rate this above mw2 even though theres still some early bugs that need fixing

i went to target at 9am to pickup my preorder. the chick goes 'it hasnt come in yet' so i went to the target games counter and asked if they had any copies of black ops.. the dude goes 'we are all sold out, you had to pre-order it'
so i went across the road and bought it from another shop, for slightly more money. I get home, the internets out. the internets out. the internets out. I couldnt play multiplayer all day. I finished the single player campaign though. my nets still dropping out regularly. apparently our line has a voltage spike? which i presume is something to do with all the rain recently. beer?
