meanwhile, quade cooper got banned 1 match for some shitty tackle.. RIP reds season
He took Berricks head off...

On a Super note, Cooper deserved that suspension. He intended to remove Barnes from the equation and succeeded. Equation being, the game and Wallabies #10 jersey for RC.

Bekker is pretty much untouchable in the lineout, Steenkamp is a powerhouse and Etzebeth looks like he'll be a springbok for a long time.
I thought Vermuelan would leave a greater hole at the boot, but Fourie (reserve hooker) played out of his skin at #8 in the weekend. Kolisi reminds me of Serge Betson.

All Blacks are going to drop their first 2 RC matches. Conrad 'Snakey' Smith is out for 6 weeks (misses first 2 rounds of RC) with an eye injury. Needed surgery for a detached retina.
Also, did you know that Super Rugby TMOs used small, standard definition monitors!? I thought that was atrocious considering the High-Def age we live in and this may explain some of the more curly TMO decisions.

Are you Newcastle folk fapping over the Knights form the last month? If Tigers lose tonight, and Knights win, they'll probably make the 8 The broncos result tonight might affect newcastle as well actually
Meanwhile, Bledisloe this Satur night.. Wallabies to win by -20

Storm vs Souths Broncos vs Cowboys Wallabies vs Springboks All blacks vs argentina Geelong vs Fremantle
tonight's gonna be a good good night. wouldnt even put a bet on tho. I thought cowboys would roll broncos, but the more i look into it being sudden death - and broncos having 13 rep players in their team.. the more im sensing a boilover.. that could be my bias broncos nature convincing me tho

I had the worst seats in the southern hemisphere for the game I really couldn't take it all in. I need to watch it again.
Stanndouts from the nosebleed section were Richie mccaw (sir), nonu was good, Stehen moore was so solid, genia and Hooper was absolutely amazing.
Aww sup bru.
Richie was impressive, i'll be first to admit that I had my doubts about his match fitness etc but boy class is class. It's pretty funny that Nonu has no Super team, even the freakin Highlanders aren't worried if he leaves. I'm sure if Yakov gathers up his millions he could probably lure Ma'a to NSW or Maitland!?
When is Higginbottom fit? He is a massive loss imo. Mowen is solid, but Scott adds a bit of mongrel/aggression (similar to big Rocky but a better athelete).
Finally, interested to see how are man of glass goes this weekend. Played 10 tests, but is yet to show he can step up like Cruden or even Barrett.
Fin.

So, who watched the Bledisloe? A decent win no doubt but with heaps of room for improvement.
Hooper was amazing. You forget about Pocock when guys like Hooper and the immortal George Smith are running around.
On an NPC note; BoP lost to Otago Bert and Beau Robinson (angry fella from the Reds) was playing for the Steamers.
I wanna play Hooper and Pocock at 6 and 7 Well i actually wanna play Hooper, Pocock, Gil and Smith at 4,5,6,7 Fucken do it.

I had a blow up with my fuckwit mate about this, I'm a huge Liam Gill fan. How about this. Pocock to hooker, Hooper 7, Gill 6 and Mowem at 8.
Before you laugh at Pocock at hooker, remember the new scrum rules, there's much less engagement, less chance to 'get under' your opponent. You've just got to hope he can throw lineouts!
